From Hype to Help: Responsible AI Service Guidance for AAC Professionals

The resulting guidance focuses on supporting AAC professionals to:
Use AI in an ethical and transparent way
Keep the AAC user’s voice, identity, and choices at the centre
Make informed decisions about when and how AI should be used
 
This has been written by Francesca Sephton and 4 AAC users as part of a dissertation project with the University of Dundee.
 
Building on this research, an AI working group was established at ATtherapy. Explore the training modules here.
