Level 1 & 2 Makaton Workshop Combo

With our Makaton Level 1 and Level 2 Workshop combo, you will complete both courses over two days. This course is great for anyone with an interest in learning to use Makaton signs and symbols.

Topics covered include:

• A practical introduction to Makaton

• Signs and symbols from Stages 1 & 2 of the Core Vocabulary

• Signs and symbols from Part A of the Additional Stage

• Answers to commonly asked questions

• Hints & tips for effective signing & symbol use

• How to start using Makaton in everyday situations

• Signs and symbols from Stages 3 & 4 of the Core Vocabulary

• Signs and symbols from the rest of the Additional Stage not previously covered in the Level 1 training

Lunch is included.

Dates & Time

• Level 1 - Thursday 8th February, 9:30am - 4:30pm

• Level 2 - Friday 9th February, 9:30am - 4:30pm

You will receive a participant's manual and certificate of attendance.*

* Please note that you must attend all sessions throughout the day to receive the certificate of attendance. This will be needed to progress to further levels.
